ABOUT US
Kyeyo Initiative Uganda is a national organisation working with migrant Workers and their families in Uganda, Middle East and other parts of the world to promote justice, empowerment and equality.
We are a non-profit organization committed to promoting the safety, dignity, and rights of Ugandans working and living abroad. Through education, advocacy, partnerships, and direct support, we help migrant workers make informed decisions and overcome challenges before departure, while abroad, and upon return.

We stand with migrant workers and Ugandans living overseas by providing guidance, advocacy, emergency support, legal referrals, awareness, and reintegration services.
OUR CAMPAIGN AND RESCUE MISSION
Our Campaigns and Rescue Missions are at the heart of our commitment to protecting the lives, rights, and dignity of Ugandans living and working abroad. Through awareness campaigns, emergency response, advocacy, and coordinated interventions, we strive to prevent exploitation, respond to crises, and support vulnerable migrants before, during, and after migration.
Whether educating communities about safe migration, responding to reports of abuse, or helping stranded migrants access assistance, our goal is to ensure that no Ugandan feels alone during times of need.

A returnee Migrant Worker from Saudi Arabia and a celebrated Migrant Workers defender who has engaged in numerous rescues of so many migrant workers from distress, passionately advocated for the rights and welfare of Migrant workers for morethan 8yrs.
Kagoya Catherine (Madam Cathy). Principal Labour Officer:
A returnee migrant worker from Saudi Arabia and UAE. She's a serial and celebrated advocate for the rights and welfare of Migrant workers. Since for morethan 8yrs, she's a regular at various MDAs offices, courts, deportation, detention and medical centres for case managements and to pay visits and offer psychological and legal support to distressed Migrant Workers, she has been involved in numerous rescue and repatriations of Ugandan Migrant Workers.
