ABOUT US
Kyeyo Initiative Uganda is globally the leading humanitarian, Non-Profit and Non-governmental organization working on challenges and problems faced by Migrant Workers. It was formed in 2017 by a group of Migrant Workers with deep concern to help fellows given the surging cases of mistreatment and abuse of Migrant workers Globally.
Kyeyo Initiative Uganda is a registered Organization since 2017 meaning it operates legally. Kyeyo Initiative Uganda too operates following both National and International Laws and Labour Standards.
The motto of Kyeyo Initiative Uganda is “We Care For You” which means that we care about Migrant workers holistically.
Mission: “To Promote and Protect the wellbeing of Workers Globally.”
Vision: “A dignified, diverse, safe, inclusive and an Equitable Employment for an Effective and Efficient as well as a Sustainable National and International Development.”
The following are some of our Objectives,
-To offer Guidance and Counseling to Migrant workers.
-To influence Policies and Laws aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of Migrant –Workers.
-To fend for the observance of the Rights and improved Welfare of Migrant Workers.
-To Monitor and Supervise Migrant Workers.
-To offer Corporate Social Responsibility to the Community.
-To research about topical issues regarding migration.
-To create awareness about issues regarding migration.
-To link and network with other migration stakeholders to promote safe migration
-To facilitate justice for migrant workers
-To empower migrant workers with skills and knowledge for self sustenance and job creation
-To offer emergency services to migrant workers in danger e.g, Rescue, etc
-To facilitate the prevention of human trafficking
-To facilitate the repatriation of the human remains of the deceased migrant workers
-To promote national and International development and cooperation.
OUR TEAM
Mr. KENETH OLOOKA
Executive Director
Mr. Olooka Keneth is a Co-founder and CEO of Kyeyo Initiative Uganda. A professional in Social Work, Finance and Business Management, a professional in and practioner of Legal affairs and International Relations with a vast experience of more than 8 years in addressing the plights of Migrant workers, advocating for observation of the rights of Migrant workers plus enhancing their welfare. He is a mentor to many migrant workers' rights activists, a determined, result oriented, a celebrated and an award holding personnel for saving and rescuing Migrant Labour from various forms of mistreatment
NSENGIUNVA FAHAD
Programs Manager
He holds a vast passion and experience in saving the lives of migrant workers and a senior returnee from Saudi Arabia where he worked for more than 4 years., excellent at initiating and implementing the programs of the Organization and having a remarkable background in successfully tackling the challenges and problems faced by Migrant Workers. He is a Co-Director of Kyeyo Initiative Uganda and un arguably the most social person on earth
OMULANGIRA MPENDO JUMA
Project Manager
An Engineer and a Busoga Kingdom senior Journalist., Joyful and an enthusiast and a very determined party excellent at creativity and innovativeness, good and Linking and Networking. He is a force to reckon with in initiating, implementing and Evaluating projects in the Organization plus the globe at large and with a formidable background of Rescuing Migrant Workers.
Ms KAGOYA CATHY MOUREEN
The Organization's Senior Technical Officer
Has a delightful face and a veteran in advocacy for the rights of Migrant workers, a former worker in Saudi Arabia and UAE, with massive knowledge about the issues pertaining Migrant workers. She is so hardworking and holds massive knowledge in technical issues regarding Labour Migration and has saved alot of Migrant workers from untold torture and abuse especially in the Middle East. She is a Law graduate and practioner from Makerere University and a committed party.
Mr HENRY GEOFFREY MUWONGE
Public Relations Manager
A teacher and a counselor by profession. He is a part time worker in Uganda and UAE, for more than 5 years he holds a visible experience in Advocating for the rights and welfare of Ugandan Migrant workers, an epitome in saving the lives of Ugandan Migrant workers. He is un arguably a celebrated Human rights defender code named "MR HENRY".
Ms NANYANZI AISHA
Head of Welfare
With a profession in Finance and Business Management and a long experience of working in the Middle East, serial in saving and rescuing lives of Migrant workers with a brand name "Kadaama Voice Ug". She is a senior celebrated activist in advocating for the rights and improved welfare for Migrant workers globally.
NALUWUGGE AMINAH a.k.a "Mum Fahiima Lawyer wa bakadaama",
Head Community Liaison/Head of Social work. A professional teacher and farmer, with an experience of more than 5 years of working in the Middle East and a veteran in saving the lives of migrant workers and a deep experience in handling depressed migrant workers. She heads the team which regularly engages the returnees to ensure effective Community re-intergration plus families of Migrant workers and the community at large.
NAJJENGO MARGRATE
Supervising Officer
A mother and a migrant worker formerly in the Gulf for 4 years and now in Germany, she is a result oriented party who ensures that all the organizational tasks and programs are executed excellently. With a Monitoring and Evaluation team below her, she monitors and evaluates all the Organizational departments and projects to ensure focus and excellence, follows up on cases of Migrant workers. She too coordinates the organizational activities in Europe
Mr. OLOYA DAVID
IT Manager
With an advanced profession in Information Communication and Technology he holds Master of Computer Science from jain University, Bangalore, India.
Mr. mUTEBI ABDUL
Head Research and Development
With an advanced profession in IT and Community Based rehabilitation and with a vast experience of 6years of employment in Qatar under the same. He gathers relevant data, analyzes opportunity and trends for innovation and organizational improvement.
Mr. WADAMAN PATRICK
Deputy Senior Technical Officer
A father, Businessman, a celebrated human rights defender, migrant worker in UAE for now 6years sitting on the leadership of the Ugandan Community in UAE, he offers a wide range of technical and advisory roles to the organization.
Ms. nANYONGA ZUBEEDAH
Secretary
A migrant worker in Qatar for 4years, a mother with a profession in Computer Science, she organizes the day-to-day schedules at Kyeyo Initiative Uganda.
Ms. NABAKOOZA ANNET
Head Counselor
A loving mother, a professional in Guidance and Counseling with an experience of more than 4 years of counseling depressed Migrant workers and migrant worker in Malaysia and Saudi Arabia for more than 3years, also, holds a long legacy in Advocating for the rights and welfare of Ugandan Migrant workers

Senior Labour Officer
A mother, counselor and a former migrant worker in Belgium for 4years with a profession in Social work and Social Administration, she manages day to day case management at Kyeyo Initiative Uganda
Mr. SENYONJO ASHIRAF
-Head Emergencies, Migration & Repatriation
-Chairperson Qatar
A migrant worker in Qatar for now 5years with a profession in Social Sciences and international relations and sitting on the leadership of the Ugandan Community in Qatar, he heads the organizational activities in Qatar. He too ensures that the migration cycle is safe and decent for all workers and also heads the department which does emergency rescue
(where needful) to the migrants in danger.
Ms. NAKAME SARAH
Mobilizer
With a strong passion in migration issues as well as a migrant worker in USA for now 3years. She coordinates and mobilizes migrant workers over several topical issues.
Ms. NABAKKA RECHEAL
Labour Officer
A twin mother with a profession in Guidance and Counselling, she does guidance and counseling, dispute resolution among workers and their employers and or employment offices as well as authorities, case management and follow up.
Ms. NIWAGABA ANNET DESIRE
Community Liaison Officer
She ensures effective re-integration of Migrant workers in the society, does follow up on cases and engages the migrant workers plus their families to ensure the effective wellbeing. She is a diligent and determined party in addressing the plights of Migrant workers.
Mr. HENRY MUYOMBYA
Coordinator Middle East
With a profession in Development studies from Makerere University and a migrant worker in UAE for now 5years, he coordinates the organizational activities in Middle East.
Ms. NAMUYIGA CHOSEN OLIVES
Legal Officer
A passionate mother, Businesswoman and a migrant worker formerly in Germany and UAE under UNICEF, she manages the legal proceedings of migrant workers.
Ms. NALUYINDA CISSY
Labour Officer
A former migrant worker in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, she does guidance and counselling, case management and follow up at Kyeyo Initiative Uganda.
