GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING
We do guide and counsel Migrant workers to enhance their resilience in the particular global regions they work from, guiding them on which procedures to use to get their rights, guiding them on the Climatic, social-Economic and Cultural trends of where they work from.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
We do help the vulnerable needy as a way of promoting their rights and welfare. I n the above photo is ED Mr OLOOKA KENETH donating food items to the people in Kasokoso Slum, a suburb in Wakiso District in 2020, in COVID 19 lockdown when people were never working and so lacked what to eat
MONITORING AND SUPERVISING MIGRANT WORKERS

MIGRANT WORKERS' PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
Through our Migrant workers' project management and development team, we currently manage and develop more than 300 projects. These include residential houses, commercial buildings, land, health and education centres, business entities, etc of migrant workers.

CASE MANAGEMENT AND FOLLOW UP
We do solve cases of migrant workers solely or in Liaison with external labour recruitment agencies, government and or Migrant workers' families. Such cases include physical and mental torture, treatment, payment and communication denials, sexual harassments, forced/unconsented body organ donations, basic needs denials, disputes between employers and migrant workers, etc. We do follow up to ensure a case is settled to the maximum.
The above picture shows Mr. Olooka Keneth Director Kyeyo Initiative Uganda following up on the health and Social progress of Namitala Racheal who was trafficked into Saudi Arabia in 2017 where she faced no payment, physical, mental and sexual abuse for 7 years. She was rescued and repatriated by Kyeyo Initiative Uganda in August 2022. Kyeyo Initiative Uganda also made sure that her Salary arrears got paid. In 5 years, Kyeyo Initiative Uganda has managed more than 12000 cases of Migrant workers
ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
We equip migrant workers with information and skills about feasible and viable income generating activities to enhance optimal utilization of their resources, promoting self sustenance and job creation.
The above picture shows Mr. Odur Moses a former migrant worker in Bahrain for 4years inspecting his poultry project in Kitgum District which he started after acquiring knowledge about poultry from Kyeyo Initiative Uganda.
COMMUNITY RE-INTERGRATION
We ensure that migrant workers are socio-economically, culturally, physically and mentally re-integrated into their communities effectively
The above picture shows Mr. Olooka Keneth Director Kyeyo Initiative Uganda when he had visited Mr. Kateregga Patrick in Wakiso District, a migrant worker who had been repatriated with broken legs and ribs to ascertain his level of socio-economic progress
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REHABILITATION
At Kyeyo Initiative Uganda, We solely or in liaison with different institutions offer rehabilitation to migrant returnees with broken body parts, injuries, etc. We do offer mental and social rehabilitation to returnees to re-integrate them into the society.
In the Picture above; Mr OLOOKA KENETH Director Kyeyo Initiative monitoring the physical rehabilitation progress of Tumuhimbese Harriet on 18th/2/2023 who was beaten by her boss in Saudi Arabia and broke her left hand plus back in June 2022 to an extent of her getting paralyzed and dumped at her Saudi Arabian Office where still she wasn't receiving any treatment and welfare. She was later rescued and repatriated by Kyeyo Initiative Uganda which then toook her to a rehabilitation centre at Mulago Hospital in Kampala on 11th/2/2023.
LINKING AND NETWORKING
We collaborate and network with several migration stakeholders to promote the rights and welfare of migrants, generally promoting safe migration.

COMMUNITY SENSITIZATION
(Awareness Creation)
As a stake holder in the Labour externalisation sector, Kyeyo Initiative Uganda sensitizes the public plus Migrant workers about the importance of migrant workers to the community, their rights, freedoms and responsibilities and the need to protect them, dangers of human trafficking, etecetera.
In the pic above is Mr OLOOKA KENETH sensitizing the community in Bubutya village-Namutumba District in August 2022 about dangers of human trafficking and how to safeguard against it.
SAVING AND RESCUING MIGRANT WORKERS
Kyeyo Initiative Uganda continues to save and rescue migrant workers who go through various scales of abuse and torture from their employers.
The above pic in January 2023, shows relatives to Nakyoga Joyce tearfully welcoming her back to Uganda from Saudi Arabia where she was physically being tortured, denied food and communication to her family, Nakyoga Joyce was rescued from severe torture by Kyeyo Initiative Uganda. Since 2017, Kyeyo Initiative Uganda has saved and rescued more than 8000 Migrant workers.
REPATRIATION OF HUMAN REMAINS OF DEAD MIGRANT WORKERS
We solely, or in Liaison with migrant workers' families and or external recruitment agencies plus governments facilitate the repatriation of Human remains of the dead Migrant workers to their home states to be given decent burials by their families and loved ones. In 7years, Kyeyo Initiative Uganda has been indirectly and directly involved in the repatriation of more than 200 bodies of dead Migrant workers to their home states which include Uganda.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING OF MIGRANT RETURNEES
We impart skills to migrant returnees to enable them start up own income generating schemes so as to employ themselves and other people . This makes them utilise their hard earned income, promotes entrepreneurship and employment in the country plus increasing local revenue.
In the past 5 years, Kyeyo Initiative Uganda has trained morethan 620 Migrant returnees all with certificates of participation and completion in the various skills they got trained in.
In the Photo are the Migrant Worker Returnees during a tailoring skills training session, at one of Kyeyo Initiative Uganda training centres located at Nsambya Crafts Centre-Kampala, Uganda. Training them is Mr Mugerwa Samson, a senior Fashion and Designing Trainor.
ADVOCACY AND LOBBYING
Kyeyo Initiative Uganda continues to advocate and lobby for improved welfare of Ugandan Migrant workers, to advocate to better policies in addressing issues pertaining Migrant workers whilst protecting their rights.

FACILITATION OF JUSTICE FOR MIGRANT WORKERS
Kyeyo Initiative Uganda continues to facilitate justice, equal hearing and legal representation of migrant workers in order to enhance their rights to access justice, promote safe and decent employment as well as migration.
In the above picture, is a letter made and sent by Kyeyo Initiative Uganda to the Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development of Uganda calling for justice for the Ugandan Migrant workers.
CAPACITY BUILDING
We do empower various stakeholders with experiences and knowledge on how to better migration. Such stake holders include migrants, private and public organizations and governments as well as individuals.
